For Complexes and Sub Complexes: What you do in OTA+
1. Create a Single Property with the 'Complex' Switched ON
a. As you must have an External Booking id here use one of the sub-complexes but add a suffix like: '-C' so it is never found
2. Click the 'Property Sub Complexes' sub-menu within the property
a. Add each Sub Complex:
i. Unit or Suite #
ii. The 'External Booking Id' of the listing\
3. As bookings come in for the sub-complexes you will notice they all have the Address of the Main Complex.
4. The EOM Owners Report will report the Suite # / Unit # on the booking.
If you are wanting to retrospectively make properties a part of a complex, you need to understand the order of checking.
It first checks to see if a property 'External Booking Id' matches the Felix PropertyID in the booking, if it finds it then its a property Match and searches no more, If it does not find a property match it then checks the subcomplex 'External Booking Ids' if it finds a match then its sub complex match.
So if you have previously created the sub-complexes as full properties and now you want to make them sub complexes, on the full property simply add a suffix 'External Booking Id' like '-S' then it wont find the previous property then add the sub-complex 'External Booking id to the main property...done.
