A Process Tag allows you to assign a tag to an owner's property file so that you can include it in selective processing.
Here is an example: Most of your property owners may be happy with a payment at the end of the month, however, some property owners that have very active properties may also want a mid-month payment. Using a tag we can selectively filter only the properties included in a mid month payment to the owners.
Here are the simple steps involved
1. From the main left menu select Property | Process Tags.
2. The Process Tag screen will appear, click "+ Add New Tag"
3. Enter the tag name and the tag description, then click the "Save" button eg:
4. Your new process tag will appear on the list:
5. Now open a property file that you wish to include in your mid-month payments, in the lower left section of the screen you will notice a field: "File Processing Tags": Click into this field and you will see the process tag you created. Click on the tag to apply it to this property, make sure you click "Save Property Changes" to apply the changes you made.
6. From the main left menu select Owners | Owners Payments and then click the tab click "Batch Pay All Owners" and at the bottom of the screen click "Batch Pay All Property Owners"
7. This screen allows you to set up a payment process. To process only properties with the "Mid Month Payments" tag untick the option: "Select All Properties & Owners?" this will enable the "Select Process Tags" field. Click into the field to select the tag, one you have selected the other options, click "Next" and you will notice only the properties that had the "Mid Month Payments" tag applied will appear.
